Practice Management Academy Part 2

This is the second of our 2026 Practice Management Academy, New Zealand’s only dental specific management academy.

In June we will focus on Business Management. In October we will look at Patient Management and the Patient Experience.

This workshop deals with business and compliance management.  

Topics covered:

Learn the basics of business finances, from revenue generation to fixed and variable costs.

How to budget and forecast – what to aim for – what does success look like.

We will cover when to expand or invest in new equipment, managing the book and roster, how much to pay staff, measuring performance with KPIs and reporting, and crucially, managing cashflow.

Understand the value of dentistry, the dental marketplace, pricing and payment.
